NFC Scribe Pen User Guide

Tap into the power of NFC technology with the NFC Scribe, seamlessly connecting with smartphones and tablets.

Programming Pen

Each pen will be programmed with a single URL. We recommend using a dynamic URL, such as Bitly, because it offers greater flexibility and control. With a dynamic URL, you can update the destination even after distribution—no reprogramming required.

Quality Control

Random testing is performed on a selection of NFC pens to ensure proper linking and functionality.

Identification

Each pen is clearly etched with the NFC symbol for easy identification by end users.

Using the NFC-Enabled Pen with a Smartphone

Ensure NFC is enabled. Compatible devices include iPhone 11 and newer, and Android 13 and newer.

Locate NFC Receiver

iPhone: NFC receiver is typically located near the top-back of the device. Place the pen near the center or top for best results.

Android: Receiver location varies by device—commonly near the camera or back center. Refer to your device manual if needed.

Tap and hold the NFC symbol on the pen against the NFC-enabled area of your device.

Follow the link that automatically appears to access the programmed content.

Note for End-User Ease

Each pen is packaged in a poly bag with clear usage instructions for a smooth end-user experience.

Disclaimer

Reprogramming after initial activation is not included. Please confirm URL accuracy before programming.
